SUV Overturns in Fayette, Ohio; Injures 57 Year Old Woman

An injury crash occurred on Interstate Route 71 and resulted in injuries for a 57 year old woman who was transported by Careflight to Miami Valley Hospital on May 24, 2013 at approximately 12:11 am. Reports from the OSHP are that a 1996 Ford Explorer 2 SUV was being driven by the woman south on Interstate Route 71 in the far right lane. The SUV allegedly drifted to the right and the woman overcorrected. It then crossed the other 2 lanes and went off the left side of the roadway, where it struck a guardrail. It went over the guardrail, overturned and rested beneath a bridge. The woman, who is from Pittsburgh PA, was charged. Pauley’s towed the SUV.
