4 Injured in Huron, Ohio, Truck Crash

A truck crash caused injuries to four people in Norwalk, Huron, Ohio, on October 3, 2013 at approximately 1:43 pm. Reports from the OSHP are that a 38 year old man was driving a 2007 Saturn midsize car south on State Route 601 and stopped at a stop sign at Federal Highway 20. A 56 year old man, Jose G. Martinez was driving a 2003 International truck west on Federal Highway 20. The driver of the Saturn allegedly failed to yield from the stop sign and was struck by the truck. The driver of the Saturn was transported by North Central EMS to Fisher Titus Medical Center, Martinez was treated at the scene. Two occupants of the Saturn, Steven E. Koehler 33, was transported by Citizen’s EMS to Fisher Titus and Jessica Lee Roberts 25, was transported by Lifeflight to Cleveland Metro. Fitzgerald’s towed the car.

Stop signs were a contributing factor in 7,331 injury crashes in Ohio in 2010. Those accidents, which occurred in Norwalk, Huron, in Ohio, were 59 injury crashes, which resulted in 77 injuries.
