Traffic came to a halt on the afternoon commute on Interstate Route 70 in Perry, Muskingum, Ohio, on October 5, 2013 at approximately 3:09 pm, following a crash that occurred and resulted in injuries for a 63 year old woman, of New York, NY. Reports from the OSHP are that the woman was driving a 1996 Pontiac Sunfire midsize car, west on Interstate Route 70, on the exit ramp into the rest area. The woman allegedly drove the vehicle off the right side of the roadway where it struck and embankment and two large rocks. The car overturned onto its roof and struck a sign and a light pole. Perry Township EMS transported the woman to Good Samaritan, after which she was charged.
