Car Overturns and Strikes Mailbox in Logan, Ohio, 3 Injured

Three people sustained injuries in a crash that occurred in Bokescreek, Logan, Ohio, on December 14, 2013 at approximately 10:15 am. Reports from the OSHP are that a 34 year old man was driving a 1993 Buick Center midsize car, east on State Route 47, and allegedly failed to negotiate a left curve in the roadway. The driver overcorrected, the vehicle slid, traveled off the left side of the roadway, where it overturned and struck a mailbox. Bokescreek Township EMS transported the driver to Mary Rutan Hospital while two other occupants of the vehicle, Gracie J. Taylor 5 and Barbara J. Faber 32, were also injured. The girl was transported by Perry Township EMS to Mary Rutan and the woman by Bokescreek Township EMS to Memorial. Three other occupants, Tristan A. Taylor 12, Kaylob N. Taylor 10 and Don Detrick 58 were not injured. The driver was charged with operating his vehicle without reasonable control and Shafer’s towed the car.
