44 Y-O Man Injured in Warren, Ohio, Truck Crash

Two freight trucks were involved in a crash that caused injuries to a 44 year old man who was the driver of one on February 17, 2014 at approximately 8:45 am. According to police reports, a 2010 Freight truck was being driven by the man, north on Interstate Route 71 and was pulled off the right side of the roadway. The driver of a 2007 Freight truck was headed north on the same road. The driver allegedly drove off the right side of the roadway and struck the parked truck. The truck was pushed off the roadway and caught fire. Clinton Warren Joint EMS assisted the man, who refused transport. Autoworks towed the truck and the driver was charged with operating his vehicle without reasonable control.

Those accidents, which were because of improper lane changes, were 3,823, which caused injuries. In 2012, Washington, Warren, Ohio, whose population was 1,855, suffered a total of 38 injury crashes of which, 55 people were injured. The frequency at which accidents occurred and involved parked vehicle were 187 or 24.9% in 2010.
