A 20-year old man along with three teenage passengers were driving a Toyota Camry east on State Road 14 in Unity, Ohio  At approximately 3:20pm in the afternoon, the driver allegedly fell asleep and ran off the left side of the road. After being startled awake near a private drive, the man took corrective action by making a sharp right turn in an attempt to steer back onto the road. Instead of turning, the car spun into a tree. The driver and his two young passengers were all taken to a Columbiana area hospital. The driver and two teenage girls suffered non-life threatening injuries. The young teen boy in the middle was not wearing a seat belt and did not have an airbag to protect him. He died from wounds sustained in the accident.
