A 54-year old woman crashed her car into a house in Delaware, Ohio. Police say the woman lost control of her 2005 Toyota Prius, after swerving to avoid a truck that had failed to yield. Although the Toyota Tacoma was not hit, police cited the 22-year old male pickup truck driver for his alleged actions prior to the crash. eports state that the man was westbound on Big Walnut Road in Genoa, OH when he made a sudden turn left onto Tussic Ave. The eastbound woman, veered right to avoid a collision with the truck. Her car then ran into a yard on Big Walnut Rd, and crashed into a house causing significant damage and injury.  Besides heavy damage to the house, the entire left side of the Prius was smashed. The woman had to be transported to a Delaware County area hospital by EMS for injuries she received in the crash.

The township of Genoa in Delaware County, Ohio has a population of 11,293 people. In 2010 there were 188 total crashes in Genoa, OH. 51 of these accidents resulted in injury.
