A violent accident that occurred in May at the intersection of U.S. Route 42 and South Section Line Road, in Delaware has taken the life of a young boy. According to Ohio State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred when his father ran a red light at the intersection. His car then collided with a dump truck and the impact of the crash sent both vehicles careening into a van. The boy and his father were taken to the hospital to be treated for their injuries. The occupants of the van had only minor injuries and the driver of the dump truck was not injured at all.
