A 1986 Mercury Marauder driven by a 62 year old woman was headed west on Federal Highway 22, while a 2004 Chevy Blazer SUV was attempting to turn left onto the same highway from County Route 143. The Chevy blazer allegedly failed to yield the right of way and struck the Mercury Marauder, then went off he left side of the roadway and struck a sign. The driver of the Mercury and an 8 year old girl sustained injuries and were transported by EMS.
