The police report states that a 2006 Chevy minivan was headed east on Federal Highway 35 while a 2002 Chevy Blazer SUV was headed west on the same route. The SUV allegedly traveled across the median and into oncoming traffic that was headed east. The Chevy minivan struck the Chevy SUV in the left side and the SUV continued off the roadway. The 59 year old male driver of the Chevy minivan as well as three occupants, a 56 year old female and two 19 year old males sustained injuries and were transported by EMS. The 36 year old female driver of the Chevy SUV also sustained injuries and was transported by EMS, while a 41 year old male occupant was fatally injured.
