A 17-year old girl was backing a 2002 Chevy Cavalier out of a driveway in Lake County when her car struck a Pontiac automobile on the passengers' side. Both vehicles suffered disabling damage and had to be towed. The driver of the Pontiac, a 59-year old woman, had to be rushed to a hospital by EMS. The teenage driver was cited by police for failure to yield. The 17 year old suffered minor injuries from the accident. Both drivers in this accident had been wearing seatbelts and airbags were deployed in both vehicles.
