According to reports supplied by the ODPS, a 1995 Suzuki motorcycle was headed north on County Route 35, at approximately 2:50 pm, while a 1995 Ford Ranger pickup was headed south on the same route. Both vehicles allegedly failed to yield their half of the roadway and the Ford Ranger ended up striking the Suzuki motorcycle. The motorcycle rider was injured.

Accidents which occurred on the roadway amounted to 59,706 which resulted in injuries. Union Ohio whose population in 2010 was 9,002 suffered a total of 70 injury crashes which resulted in 98 injuries. One person was injured every 4.8 minutes. There were 297.6 persons injured every day in 2010 in Ohio. Accidents which were not hit/skip were 67,178 which caused injuries. Accidents which involved pickup trucks last year were 14,862 which caused injuries. Those accidents which were attributed to sideswiping in the opposite direction amounted to 1,078 which caused injuries. Those in which there were no controls were 13,475 which resulted in injuries. Accidents that occurred in 2010 which involved drivers’ failure to yield accounted for 12,165 that resulted in injuries. Motorcycle accidents were 3,430 which resulted in injuries.
