Lucas County Ohio Personal Injury Lawyer | 59 Year Old Man Dies in Swanton Ohio Car Accident

            A 2004 Dodge Ram driven by the 59 year old man, was headed west on Federal Highway 20A. The vehicle allegedly crossed the centerline, drove off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

            In Ohio last year, accidents which occurred and were not a collision of two vehicles in transport amounted to 518, while vehicles involved in accidents which the drivers failed to control amounted to 134 which resulted in fatalities. Those in which no safety devices were used amounted to 536, and those which occurred on the roadside amounted to 238, all of these resulted in fatalities. Accidents which occurred when the time was cloudy and resulted in fatalities were 267. The accident involved a tree, there were 60 accidents which involved a tree and which resulted in fatal injuries last year in Ohio. Swanton had a population of 3,307 last year, but there were no fatal crashes.
