Police reported that a Ford F150 driven by a 54 year old man, was headed south on State Route 266 when it allegedly ran off the right side of the roadway where it struck a culvert and overturned. The vehicle then struck a fence and a utility pole then rested on its top. The driver of the vehicle as well as the passenger was transported by EMS.

Accidents which occurred last year when it was dark not lighted amounted to 8,526 which caused injuries. Those accidents which involved improper lane change were 3,823 which caused injuries. Windsor Ohio whose population in 2010 was 1,951 suffered 12 injury crashes which resulted in 16 persons being injured. Accidents in which the drivers were under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication amounted to 5,173 which resulted in injuries. In the category of trapped occupants by injury status, there were 708 persons who in an accident and were freed by non-mechanical means last year which resulted in incapacitating injuries. Accidents which occurred outside the traffic way amounted to 2,455 which resulted in injuries.  Accidents which involved pickup trucks last year were 14,862 which caused injuries. Those which involved culverts were 394, these resulted in injuries. Accidents which caused injuries and involved utility poles were 1,619 last year. There were 2,554 accidents last year in which there was no safety devices used which resulted in incapacitating injuries.
