Recalled Baby Formula Unlikely To cause Serious Injury

Another children's product recall has parents worried. Abbot Labs, the makers of Similac Baby Formula have announced a recall of more than five million can of the formula after an internal reviewof the company found that the formula may contain beetle larvae.
 

The beetles are not harmful, but may cause digestion problems or stomach ache in infants drinking the formula.  This may cause the infant to lose his or her appetite if the beetles are ingested. If a child refuses to eat or does not eat as usual for a few days, parents should consult with their pediatrician.
 

The recall includes 8-ounce, 12.4-ounce and 12.9 ounce cans of Similac powder that have the numbers:
