Police reports state that a 1996 Mercury Marquis driven by a 63 year old man was headed south on State Route 83 when the driver allegedly lost control of the vehicle and ran off the right side of the roadway, struck a ditch and a utility pole before finally coming to rest. The driver sustained injuries and was transported by EMS.
